    chloe -

a certain percentage of the posters on this site are for cancelled (or totally bullshit) shows. yours were legitimately commisssioned pieces for events that were last minute cancellations. no problem - they are real honest cultural artifacts.

    fly yer freak flag, baybay!

still the bitter irony of doing posters for a band i trully love and they cancel.
    meh.
i was also promoting the mtl show and put ALOT of work into it.
    double meh.
    canada is so shitty.
my stupid country is terrified of culture that isn't home grown.

fucking customs here are a nightmare. they just HATE
letting bands in and local sceneS suffer and stagnate cuz of the lack of cross pollination.

We've got a poster for Electric Frank that was done for a show that was scheduled right after 9/11 last year..... prints cost in excess of $400 to print, so we decided (with band's permission) that we would sell them anyway. Afterall, they were made with all sincerity and the show was cancelled due to things beyond any of our control.

seri...make sure you send some of the posters to the band so they will:

    a) feel really guilty for cancelling the show

    b) see how cool your work is anyway (and maybe want to use it for a shirt or something)
