    rabblerousers aren't called that anymore.

They're The Maneuvers now. Those guys are really good friends of mine back from my Philly days.

    Excelsior ruled.

Pennsylvania Muzzleloader is missing from your list. They fucking rule.

As far as Winnipeg goes, we've got a ton of bands n' whatnot, but I'm not feelin' all of them.
There's a few I dig though. First n' foremost there's the Break Bread crew that releases their stuff on Peanuts and Corn Records: http://www.peanutsandcorn.com/
They get better with every album. The label is located in Vancouver, but made its way out there from Winnipeg. 3/5's of the crrew still lives out here, the other two live in Van-City and Halifax respectively. And I can't forget their associates Your Brother in My Backpack, a pretty tight rap group. On the rock n' roll tip, you've got the Vagiants who do a MC5/BellRays sort of thing. Lots of fun to watch, they are: http://thevagiants.tripod.com/ Oh yeah, their bass player is a wicked designer.
And of course, I can't forget about The Weakerthans: http://www.theweakerthans.com/
...and international sensation Remy Shand: http://www.remyshand.ca/index.php

Damn, i did forget about PA Muzzleloader, i have their cd sitting here and havent opened it, im kind of afraid of it because of the subpar art work.

    also

no offense but the philly american nightmare should definitly give up and let the hardcore boston american nightmare win the battle for the name.

    also from philly

    the tracks
the explosion (why do these guys front and say they are from boston?)
    am/fm
    deadly
    atom and his package
    s process
    holy fallout
