Hi!
I'm about to embark on attempting to screen print a photo.
Starting simple, single colour (Black & white photo, with the substrate being the white, black being the ink)
I have just...
The acetates i use aren't the frosted kind, they're Folex inkjet acetates, completely transparent, rough one side (inkjet side) smooth on the other.
The stencil is completely solid where there is...
Found a half decent one. If anyone is interested, saved me making some ridiculous geometric shapes myself.

But if anyone can point me in the...
Hi!
I recently have made a change to the way expose my images, and changed the light source, this should influence my exposure time a lot.
Can anyone point me the in the direction of somewhere...
Damnit! Seems like such a rookie mistake, i did the maths with the emulsion with 2400 watts pointing at it, it had an exposure time ranging from 9 - 10.30 minutes, so lord knows where i've gone wrong...
Yeah, i have a shoddy Inkjet Business 2800 i think it is, not a great printer, but for simple geometric designs, the screens expose perfect. Thanks for the idea though, it makes me a bit more...
I think maybe point 1 is definitely a winner.
I have achieved damn good detail previously with a 7minute exposure with EIGHT 400watt halogen lights (3200watts) surrounding the screen, and im...
Hi, i've been screen printing for over a year now and havent had many issues, i primarily use Kiwo chemicals and Permaset Aqua water based inks for my garment printing.
I recently decided to up my...
Yeah, i'd imagine the mesh'd perish if i left the Pregan paste on for too long, i'll just go with re-stretching it, just a pain getting to my local business that re-stretches screens for me.
...
Cheers for the advice, i'm going to buy some Pregan Paste as that stuff is damn strong de-hazer (Also not bad a removing diazo emulsion haze), if this doesn't work, then im straight onto a new mesh...
Hi,
I'm using a diluted Pregasol K-FL to decoat my screen, due to an emergency I sprayed it on my screen to decoat (usually i leave it for 2 minutes then rinse with water to successfully reclaim...
