Can we get back to talking about Anne of Green Gables now?
The freaky old hippy guy in the short shorts who likes to Keep Austin Weird will make the rounds and will talk your ear off if you let him. But he has never bought anything from anyone ever.
This time I think I'll keep a tally of how many times someone gives me a speech about how they just can't bring themselves to buy a poster for a show they weren't actually at. On principle. Or...
Has Mad Magazine hired you yet?
You are a master of your craft.
I don't think OP is necessarily the chief offender in this case Andy... that honor belongs to bands who wait until the last possible minute to approve artwork. The problem here seems to be too many...
While French is something of a boutique product marketed toward boutique users, Cougar is the Budweiser of cover-weight paper. Unless you live in a small town, you should be able to find a paper...
Welcome to the most competitive, over-saturated market for gigposter work in the entire world!
I'd love to see one that's not full of meta-commentary about revival threads.
Or maybe, comments on actual posters!
It's simply unreasonable to propose an arrangement from which you intend to profit, whereby the artist assumes all of the upfront cost and all of the risk. If that's all you can do, you'll have no...

Any printer that involves heat (i.e., laser printer) will distort the transparency media making accurate registration impossible...especially if you are tiling 8.5 x 11 sheets...
If your art is simple, it will work fine.
If your art is complex and involves fine detail or tight registration it may suck.
If your art involves halftones, don't even bother.
Seams and tape...
Cougar 100# cover.
Smooth, dimensionally stable when properly acclimated (unlike French), and cheap.
I posted some bullshit in the forums just today. Doing my bit to push the bullshit/content ratio back in the right direction.
It will dim it a little but won't ruin it. You're probably fine.
The glow ink is very transparent.
You should use a coarser mesh screen to print the glow layer, if you have one. Heavier...
Come on, surely one of you guys can print Luther's buddy's coke mirrors.
I've used the same old TW WB inks I use on everything. Works fine, no adhesion problems. I used 5500 flat; 5000 gloss would probably look better.
FYI: Pimping your new releases in the forums is a faux pas...that's not what the forums are for. You're new so all is forgiven. But, make a note of it.
