This happens to me every time, it's never effected the print quality though.
edit: Crap, trust Luther, not me.

No dry enough, or not burned long enough. I get than when I use the "milky" colured waterproof film and use the same burn time as the clear stuff.

could be a heat issue, how close is your light source? Try printing the positive in reverse and flip, so the ink side touches the glass and not the emulsion.

why so much emulsion?
1 pass, 1 side. at least for runs of 100 or less.

i usually use oiled paper for my transparencies and get that type of mark from where the paper is vs where there's nothing, or clear films.... never effects printing.... just because that part's not as opaque as the black area, but not as transparent as the clear.... so it's exposed just not as hardened as the outer parts. If it seems super under-exposed, hit it with some more light after you wash it out and it'll even it out.

Mhmh..I've dried the screen in the oven at 40°C for 1 hours, and left there overnight and dried another 30 minutes at 40°c in the oven...so I believe it was completly dried!
Perhaps is the kind of emulsion? I believe it isn't underexposed, I made the exposure test! 2 coats under because is requested on the datasheets..and my light source is fixed (it's a vacuum exposure table with UV neon) Thanks, Fabio ps. squeegee thanks, i saw the same thing about the emulsion! can't understand what happened |
