I have about twenty years printing plastisol and have done some UV on plastic substrates, but have been wanting to build my very own golly to god spleencrimp studio @home and finally have the means to do it. I built one table but I (I mean my cat) screwed it up by actually tryto laminate it with soft flexible plastic film. Sheesh.
OK heres the dumb? I'm using birch ply for top and bottom, and it has staggered baffles inside.
Well, here in Portland Home Dego f+&# Yerself only sells countertops, and Lowes has really expensive sheets that are so big I could use the cut-off as a roof to the shack I'll surely be living in after I go broke from this endeavor.
I had an idea to coat the the top with waterproof sealant,I thought about contact paper, but something tells me that wont work. What about Plexiglass? Either on its own, or lam'd to the ply wood
