    Default airbrushing/spray painting thru screens

    does it fuck up your screens?

    yes.....
    but i suppose i can use cheap screens for airbrushing through if it does fuck them up. but it seems that if airbrush or spray paint would screw up a screen enough to where you could no longer print through them, then you wouldn't be able to spray through them again anyway....am i right?
    just seems a lot easier then cutting stencils by hand

    i say ignore the expert, go for it. buy some new frames and have a go at it.

    i think it does fuck up your screens. we used to do it all the time in school when we were just about to have a screen re-stretched. we did solvent-based and water-based printing, and as i recall, none of the cleaning agents we used could get spray paint out. but, like daniel said, fuck it! you can get low-mesh wooden screens for CHEAP. go for it!

    if you get a strong enough dehazer nothin ruins your screens except the dehazer

    I suppose if you used like an 80 mesh or something in would work ok you just wouldn't be able to do very many before you'd have to wash out the screen

    not sure what you're trying to achieve but i've spraypainted on mylar and exposed or spraypainted on paper then scanned/photocopyed it's worked with no problems.
