nate -- we do cmyk with paints all the time

we just get our guy to put pure pigments in a neutural base , no white
    works like a charm.

if i were printing anything but my own stuff , i wouldn't waste my time with speedball , i'd go straight to tw which is 10000000x better

Ah, TW, that's what I meant to say!

Ya, I wouldn't try to open a screenprinting shop using only housepaint, but it serves my purpose great.

I will DEFINITELY have to check out what they can do for me for process colors next time I'm in the store. Thanks!

I'm growing more and more frustrated with Speedball. The consistency of the ink has been varying so much from jar to jar it's ridiculous. Last week, I had a wonderful jar of black but I opened one today and it's so thin I can't flood on a 305 without it over-saturating. Sometimes, it's so gooey that I have to constantly scrape it off the squeegee.

You missed a few zeros. Printing with TW is wonderful. Spendy, but just about perfect.

With Speedball, it's all about mixing it with other brands.

Speedball black is crap, but Speedball + Nazdar is an excellent, scuff-free black.

I'm thinking I might try mixing the base clear with housepaint, see how that prints.
