Y'know, I picked up my first squeegee when I was 13 years old. It was at that moment that I thought "making t-shirts and selling them to my friends was the life for me" Of course, I was having a lot of fun re-designing logos for all my favourite punk bands. Years later I actualy got a job working in a print(read:sweat)shop. A few more years(and a shop of my own)later I can't figure out how to get the enjoyment back. It just feels like the same old shit and the same old Varsol damage. Just a rant.

So true Frank. After blowing out my elbows and wrists a couple of times, I could really get into using an auto!

Yeah..but good autos are fucking expensive... I wish we could justify the cost and have the space for like a 10 color auto, but shit $75000 or so...

Both Jeff & I have bad wrists from printing... sucks. An automatic press is our only reasonable option.

Stranglehold, after you get your 500th stick drawing of a tree for a family reunion, and that's the tree the client *insists* on, it makes ya kinda want to slit yer wrists, don't it? I hated those. And the high school class shirts. And the church group shirts.

We like printing much better now that we're not doing custom work like that anymore.

A few years of screenprinting with NAZDAR series 5500 has permanently affected my respitory system. Seriously...it has.

Thats why I say...PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT....unless your nuts and actually LIKE printing.

but it *looks* so good, Jermaine.... ha.

We are going to test some UV ink in the near future.... the Nazdar guy sez they have flattening agents that makes UV look almost like the 5500 inks when dry.
