keeping paper down?

hey dudes. i need to print something double-sided, and i have never done this before. i have no vacuum table, so usually when i print, i use spray adhesive to keep my paper down. it looks like i wont be able to do that this time if i intend on keeping both sides printable and clean. so anyone have any ideas on how i can do this if i don't have a vac table? i'm not against building one, but i'm tying to hurry up on these prints, so it's more of a time issue at this point. if there isn't a good quick-fix solution, i'm totally down to make it, but thought i'd check here first before i take the dive.

Wow. I've puzzled over this for at LEAST nine seconds, and can't think of any possibility. Ummm... how about two of those really big flat industrial-size rubber bands? Gonna be a bitch to set up each print, but one at top and one at bottom of your print surface might do it...

I built my vac table in an afternoon. It's really not hard.

...but to VD's point, maybe your best bet is to find someone WITH a vac table and ask them to do it or ask if you can print on their equipment.

you know what's funny rick? my buddy and i had a short brainstorm about it while he was over here, and he said the exact same thing about rubber bands. but yeah, we both said 'ehhhhh never mind' when we thought about setting up each print.

oh well, vac table it is. i figure i'll need it later anyway, plus i bet any alternative option i (we) could think of would waste so much time that i might as well use that time to build a table instead.
