Are any shirts sewn better?

We've been printing on different brands of shirts, trying them out and trying to find which ones we like best. I have used Hanes, especially the men's fashion tees because of the soft feel and the fact that they discharge beautifully, but all of the shirts we get always have a few that are sewn badly, crooked, twisted, etc.

I have a new design that has a part that circles the collar and if the collar is sewn crooked, it will look bad. In you guys experience, are there any shirts that are sewn consistently better? I'm not afraid to pay for good shirts if it will make my design work, but I'm kinda broke so we are ordering small quantities (under 40).

I've been ordering from jiffyshirts.com since they have pretty good deals for a small operation like ours, but they also don't carry really high end shirts, just all the regular ones. Any suggestions?

Their customer service is not always great, but the shirts are soft with a good cut. Cheaper than American Apparel. A lot of
vendors for Hot Topic use these guys. You'll have to call about minimum orders. They rely on trusty ol' landlines to do business.

i suggest Continental. They are expensive tees but really well sewn.

they are on tha cheap, built well, fit comfortable (IMO), and they discharge nicely.

they are built like a regular t-shirt... no stupid hipster cuts.

my biggest complaint is the color choices.

We have used Jerzees and I like them, I'm just looking to do black shirts for this, I guess. I was thinking of a more fashion-y type shirt for this new design. I'd like to try to get these shirts into some boutiques.

I'll check with Bay island, they have no pictures on their site. But eventually I'd like to try to get our stuff into Hot Topic. I think the market is similar to some of what we do.

i paid 6,60Euros for each tshirt, 220gr/sqm, but i believe in USA you can find them for cheap.

Uniqlo is the most comfortable t-shirt I've worn and they're very well sewn.

Plus, since you're in NYC, you can buy them at the store pretty cheap, but not comparable to bulk order.

Anvil and Gildan are pretty standard options in the US, you can find blanks for about $1.30 Whites and $2.00 colors.

I like Alstyle shirts.. also known as AAA or Triple A. That's my personal preference.
