hmmmm, maybe some folks do that? i don't really bother to try and register my films at all from screen to screen, though i know some people do. it just seems like a colassal pain in the ass and ripe for heartache when you are off.

because i use the "print onto acetate" method to register, it really doesn't matter where the image is on the screen as long as there is enough room for the paper on the press (meaning the image isn't too high or too low on the screen), if that makes sense.

Doing pre-reg on the screens and films saves time on the table in terms of adjustment.

really? i don't know, i think that it would take me a long time to pre-reg on the screens. the way that i do it now is bang-on accurate and takes like, 30 seconds to 2 minutes, tops.

it never ceases to amaze and interest me the 43 billion different ways that we all do the same things.
