This might be old news for some but my neighborhood Radio Shack just got these $10 foot switches added to their inventory.

I think they aren't 3 prong because the switch isn't rated to run high current stuff. I'm sure you could make one for much cheaper that was three pronged from a high current switch and a plastic box.

![]() this is not an electrical shutoff, but we used this system to turn the vac off on the small CD press. essentially, put a couple of big holes at the back, and have the clamps come down and cover the holes to create the vacuum. when the screen goes up, the holes suck in the air, creating no vacuum going to the CD holder. Those foot swtches are a good idea though, simple and help speed up the printing.
