Jerry Riggs Exposure Unit

Hey all... I just built a vacuum table and next to do is build an exposure unit. When searching, I keep coming across threads for "Jerry Riggs Exposure Unit Plans" but all the links are dead. Does anybody know where I could get my hands on these plans?

Also, whats the best exposure setup to be built on a budget of $250 (not counting the sun.) I live in the mountains with an average of 500" of snowfall a year and can't really see myself dragging my screens out in the middle of winter to be exposed.

500" holy carp. If the screens aren't too big a $10 250w halogen work light does fine for me.

Get a 1000w metal halide grow lamp, a piece of glass, and a foam pad. Done.

exactly. but they also put out the most UV in the correct range short of an Olec or purpose built point source exposing lamp. I use one when the sun don't shine in my shop. Have also used them when teaching remote workshops, like up in the arctic. the one we used in this article was from a parking lot. Gave us perfect exposures of 18x24 screens in about 1-2 minutes.

So I need one of these: 1000 Watt MH Grow Lamps
I assume I would also have to get a ballasts and a reflector as well?

reflector, lamp socket, ballast and 120v wire. My unit came all wired together, 'plug and play'

You don't need glass. the bulb should be the type that can sit horizontal
