how would you sep/print this

I got this poster from my designer, and he thinks i can get this done in 2 colors, I am having a hard time wrapping my head around it, i dont have a lot of experience with these types of designs. I am used to something where the colors are easily separated. Can anyone give me their 2 cents?

Make him provide you with seps if he's so sure it can be done.

Seriously though, that looks like too much trouble to try and sep for 2 colors, especially if you're trying to screen print it. Not to say that it can't be done, but it'll be harder to sep than it will be to print it. I'd just output those digitally.

thats what i was worried about, i was thinking 3 colors may be easier. I understand what youre saying about it being a lot of trouble, however i would like to try and learn how to do the more difficult seps. My designer is a friend of mine and we are both kind of learning this technique together.
