I have one side of a poster (the side that my counter weight is tied to) not printing. Big splatches of ink are not being laid down on the first pull, so I am flooding again and re-pulling which just makes a mess.
I would use a kick leg but I have Newman frames so I can't drill into it.
The image is about 3 inches away from the edge but I can't make the image any smaller. These are big frames so they may be pulling to the one side a bit.
Any ideas short of changing my counter weight?

sounds like too much weight lifting the screen up.
Big frames with the image 3 inches from the frame = problems.

I just printed a job today where my shit was wayyy to close to the edge of the screen, I LOVE to do that, it usually screws stuff up pretty good and I end up swearing.
Then I do it again on my next poster.- Beth

For me its anything close to the edges and only up near the top of the screen and thats from the off contact of the clamps and the tension combined. Since stuff at the bottom of the screen at the same distance from the sides prints no problem.

you need at least 6" all the way around for that size.

Hand pulling, clamps and 24" x 36" posters. I know I am fucked. Just casting a penny into the Gigposters' wishing well.
