These have the best flow and work great on full bleed posters. Looks like paint too.

Also I edition the minute I'm done printing so it's over and done with quickly. If I put it off I'll often not bother and I'm stuck signing at sale time.
The night before I flew out for Flatstock I had to sit down and sign and number three separate editions. It was about 800 prints and it sucked. How did Kozik do it with his runs of 2500?

Same with round images - people that sign the print way down at the bottom lined up with the paper edges, you can't use a circle matt or you lose the sig.
Ha... I think about that everytime I edition another print, since talking to you in seattle

I get into a zone while signing and numbering. It's not so bad if you do it right away.

I always hated signing posters and never did it until flatstock 1 when people kept asking about edition sizes, signatures etc. So I went back to the hotel and signed like 4 billion posters. Now I never sign stuff unless someone buys it and even then I feel like a snooty prick doing it.

i used to sign and number on the back, because i was a shy dolt. but i got tired of having people ask me to sign them again on the front at shows and / or send prints back for the same.

i don't know nothing about the Art World in general, but i figure a) give the people what they want (hellooo ray davies!) and b) if editioning, signing and numbering on the front worked in the past for everyone from the old masters and modernist print makers, it's good enough for me.

Bingo

I let Art Chantry design my signature. No joke.
