anyone ever had problems with pocono screen supply?

I put in an order over week ago, the place is about 200 hundred miles from me. With ups ground i should have it in 2 days max. After the 5th day i call and they hadnt even shipped it yet. She apologizes and says i'll have it the next day. Here we are 2 days later and it hasnt shipped yet, apparently one of the items was not even in stock and they are still waiting on it. What ever happened to a courtesy call explaining the situation? I've been sitting around for a week with my thumbs up my ass waiting to do some prints for a client.

Any one ever have this type of service from them? </rant>

It's common practice for suppliers to check on their inventory at the time of order and to tell you or call you back if they don't have an item. Then make partial shipments in needed. Demand this of them.

I agree, i will have to do that. I was 1 second away from just canceling the order all together and going to victory. It wasn't a huge order, shipping was like 10 bucks or something, but its the principal.

i order from them all the time. never had an issue and my orders come in three to four days.

I thought that i had heard good things about them on here before, or at least no negative. One can only assume this is just a fluke. I'll probably consider ordering from them again, just not when time is important.

I use them all the time.

Same thing happens to me now and again.

But generally the stuff comes in in a day or two.

Try McDonalds Screen Supply. You just order, drive through, and pick it up at the window.

Sometimes things take time. Screenprinting is not fastfood.

But agreed, they should be upfront on their ship date, and let you know if there will be delays due to backorders.

When did you place the order? I just placed one a week ago for emulsion, first experience with pocono, and I have not gotten any update whatsoever, they have not even told me what the shipping cost is.

Maybe there is something happening internally that is causing problems with orders at the moment. Just my two cents.
