I placed the order last Tuesday. I would definitely call and get a status, before you know it 2 weeks will have passed. You are in CA though, so thats like 3-5 days shipping or something.

they just opened a warehouse in CA. could be why orders are getting messed up, they're still moving inventory around.

If the order has shipped, then stick with it.

If the order has not shipped, F-'em. Cancel it, and go to Victory. Your time is worth $$$, and customer service is #1 in a business. I understand things take time, but that's not the case here, it's about poor customer service.

Good luck.

Update:
I just got a call from their sales department and they told me it had shipped the day after the order, only after I sent an email asking what the heck was going on, but they responded pretty quickly, within like 15 minutes.

Just wish I didn't have to ask for info that should be given up front.

I just got an order of screens from Pocono and they are a lot higher tension than I'm used to. What about that? I'm new to this so I'm not sure what to expect from these really tight screens. Is it going to be harder to press through the off contact? Do we need to use more pressure?

Oh by the way, I ordered these Monday the 17 and they emailed yesterday, the 26th, to check on the mesh counts. But I got them today. Though I could have used them sooner. Victory Factory always ships same or next day when I order and the price seems pretty similar, at least on the aluminum frame screens they have on sale right now.

Higher tension = good, better, best.

the idea you have to press harder is counterintuitive - with higher tension, you can use less off contact to acheive snapoff after your squeegee stroke. Less off contact means less pressure to contact the screen to the paper or shirt.

Higher tension also allows for easier coating, reclaiming, better registration and sharper prints. You will also get better inkflow, because the spaces between the threads are opened too their maximum potential. The only drawback is they may be more prone to ripping if they get nicked or you damage some threads. Avoid printing near the frame edge, or you risk delaminating.

Victory doesn't have an online store. That's a big turnoff for me, yet if something takes a week to ship, I could care less.

my first and only experience with pocono wasn't so good. i ordered a particular haze remover which they were apparently out of. they decided to ship a weaker one in its place. when i called, they told me they didn't know if they were going to get the product i ordered in stock and said the substitute was "the same thing." normally i wouldn't mind, but the product i ordered cost over $20 more than the haze remover i received. in their defense the owner gave me a credit for the difference after i complained.

I have mixed feelings about them. I ordered a screen in January and it came with a big stain in the mesh which I couldn't remove, so I had to send it back. Then in February I placed another order for a screen and six weeks later I finally received it, after having sent a few unanswered emails. I must say though, the screens themselves are top quality.
