Yesh shir!

Blocking out the previous print area using waterbased blocker (keeping the screen in its registered position to save time)

Colby, my better half doing white details by hand

Preparing the Darkgrey/Black screen. our vacuum exposure unit is just an inch too small to be of any use for these screens. I've found using spraymount to stick the film on works fine right down to 8pt type (I hate 8pt type nevertheless...)

putting on the final touches while getting tanned

after 8 minutes exposure its time to hit the washbooth

By now I've had a beer too many, so Colby's steady hand (she's a Tattooist ya see...) comes in just right to block out the bits that'll be black.

and here goes the dark grey

Bored yet? huh?

Its a Frenke (Swiss Manufacture) It's been our workhorse here for more than 12 years. considering we never gave it an overhaul yet (Screw threading is starting to go) it's totally OK despite dating from the early seventies.

Very cool. I do the spray adhesive trick. The funny thing is you just have to spray it on very light and it sticks great. I did a 4 color process 55 line screen like this once. When I wa in a pinch.

Great set-up
