I used to do a lot of illustrations this way because of the cool sharp lines you get. What the hell was I thinking. That owl took HOURS.

Well if you get good results with ruby Jay, I'm pleased to stick with it!

Got a nice email back from McLogan that says they think it's about the same as amber to use except for the see-thru bit, but to try it and if I don't like it, they'll take care of it. Ah, good service!

It comes in different tackiness and thicknesses. The really thin stuff will drive you nuts trying to peel it off, and the low-tack stuff will flick off with a fingernail.

I would say less insane, more self hating.

And I get frustrated sometimes cutting out MY simple monkey designs....
