Allllllrighty so the program at my school has tons and tons of screens, just no one cleans them right, so on many of them (at least half) there are small traces, drops, or ghost images in the form of irremovable emulsion. I think a lot of the problem is kids aren't washing off all the ink after printing (FUCKING RETARDS) and it dries onto the screen. Also, I think some people leave the emulsion remover on too long without washing it off, and the emulsion hardens on the screen. ANYWAYS I really just want to claim 5 of these screens for myself and let everyone else do their own thing, I just need a way to clean some screens. Is the damage irreversible at this point?
And if this helps any, we use "BLICKRYLIC economy acrylic polymer" for all our inks. We also have literally gallons of ghost remover, degreaser, and 2 forms of emulsion remover: premixed and a concentrate powder. It's just a shame that this program is going to ruins because people are lazy and/or stupid.
