Printing Order > Red and Yellow to make Orange?

I've got a poster idea in my head, and I want to print red and yellow flames that overlap in parts to make orange. What colour should I print first, red or yellow? I'm thinking yellow? Or will the red be too dark and cover up the yellow? The red and yellow ink isn't very opaque.

Suggestions?

Okay, I wasn't sure that the Yellow on top of the red would make much difference. I don't have much experience printing with waterbased inks, and making / mixing colours by overlapping.

Yellow first. I'm just saying to spark debate. Do a swatch test and see. Both ways are fine depending on the inks, trans, amount o white, etc. You'll nees to have a fairly trans ink anyways.

light over dark for most overprints. sure, every rule was meant to be broken, but in this case for ease and inexperience, go light over dark.

and use a decent amount of transparency base.

I printed green over grey and acheived the desired effect, why won't yellow over red work?

This is the poster I did last sunday (well the computer version of the printed poster) and the green worked fine over grey.

The designs changed anyway, but I might try it with above image. My emulsion was so shitty that I couldn't clean screens mid-job with out having to reclaiming them and starting again, but with the new stuff I got the emulsion is fine, so i can re-use the screens.
