I'm seriously depressed.

We just finished a poster for Of Montreal and EVERYTHING went wrong. First, my printing partner got deathly sick, then I got deathly sick so the thing was designed in about 3 bleary-eyed hours. Not my style. It was also our first print with our new 305 screen so we wanted to try a tiny halftone. The image was big so I printed out two transparencies and taped them together. There was an overlap of maybe one centimeter. For real.

So, anyway, don't do that.

i have a ton of stuff like that. it does suck but I have yet to find a good solution for it.

yeah, if that overlapped dark area is only 1 cm, it's not that bad. i do it all the time. you'll get used to it.

Then post a screenshot of the .psd on gigposters.com instead of a photo of the print so everyone will just assume it turned out perfect.

It's the 'charm' of the process. I like flawed printing, it adds character. If i wanted a 'perfect' print, i'd go and get it done digitally.

the only thing i like about any of my prints are the flaws, but i keep hiring lame-ass screenprinters with all their hoity-toity "quality standards".
