Imagine if everyone here kept all their "secrets" to themselves and didn't help out new people with info and guidance? Everyone would still be using Speedball kits.
I had a printing teacher tell me once "never share anything about how you work with anyone. Knowing what you and how you work is what makes you an asset. If you know how to do something that Bob doesn't know how to do and the company you work for is having cut backs who do you think they are going to keep around?" So, yeah Dan, keep your secrets, its what keeps Crosshair unique. I still would love to know how you do the seps though.

I hate that attitude. That teacher should be shot and pee'd on. I've worked for a bunch of shop owners who had the same mentality. Every one of them went broke.

Dan is what makes Dan unique.

The whole idea of hiding technical secrets so no-one learns your "style" is a great sign that you have none and probably never will. Absolutely, Dan is the secret to Crosshair work, not how he does separations.

For the record, I put process photos up not to hide information, but to share it.

Actually the teacher was the best one in our department and I wished there were more like him. He wasn't saying be a snooty hermit and do not share ever, he was saying know what makes you valuable and unique.
