    Default washout booth

So, I'm trying to build a washout booth and have been looking for some plans for an inexpensive way. I know a lot of you probably didn't need any plans when you built yours, so I ask for this with a little bit of reluctance, but any suggestions or ideas on how you built yours, whether you found a tub, or bought a plastic shower or what are appreciated. I like that everyone's built there's differently.
    thanks.

Yeah, I've been searching the forums, but can't find anything *super* helpful.
I'm going to be building mines pretty soon, too.

I built the one in the studio out of 2x2 and plywood, then coated the inside with fibreglass.

I made one out of plywood. 8' long, 6' high, 3' deep. Build the basic shape out of thick plywood and mount a drain, some sort of grill to hold the screens, and all that jazz. Then get some West System Epoxy and some Fiberglass cloth. Give the entire booth a nice coating of the epoxy, then get the fiberglass cloth and lay that around the corners and cover it with epoxy so it's all wet and sitting in place. Let the epoxy dry, wash out the waxy/redish finish that comes when the epoxy dries. The do another coat of epoxy, do about 4 coats so it's nice and covered. I also layed some fiberglass cloth against the backsplash so that when the screens bang against the back of the booth you don't start chipping away the epoxy. Look into getting some filler for the West System too, that will make it thick like peanut butter and easy to controll and fill thick spots. You can add lights to the back if you want as well. So far this booth has lasted a year, and about 500-700 screens have gone through it and no real problems, it's also not loud like those metal booths.

We use a really big plastic tub & a shower curtain next to the utility sink in skot's basement. plus a small water pump to drain.

    frankly, it works pretty well.

There used to be a thread recommending buying and old plastic shower stall
from the dump or what not. The shop I started at had an old big dish sink with
plywood to give heighth and then just coated the plywood with that black painters
plastic or something (might have been pond liner?). Hope that helps.
I am currently using my shower, but I run waterbased only.

someone posted a photo of a garage setup that had what looked like a plastic livestock water trough... complete with drain plug to run to a floor drain... if anybody knows about that or where they got it, post it...
