    Default Kraft CD mailers??

Anyone know a good source for kraft paperboard CD-ROM mailers? Something with a flap that folds over the top for closure? Only need around 100 of them.

yeah, there are super cheap, it's kinda nuts. nice to print on if you're printing letterpress, made us want to kill everyone when we were silkscreening.

silkscreening prefabs by hand is torture.

it was pretty cheap, like 12.50 plus shipping for 50 of them. i'd recommend getting their catalog and the cd sample package from them. super nice and fast.

It all depends on what you're printing. we were doing super detail, 3 colors on each side silk screen, then 3 color letterpress. it just got frustrating.

The letterpressing, by far, was the simplest. I have letterpressed a few prefabs and it was a total breeze, as long as you don't mind varying impression.

Silkscreening was fucking annoying becuase the height difference in prefabricated cases. it's like printing on a chipboard bubble, impossible to get the pressure correct if you're hand pulling.

Letterpressing is the way to go in my mind for these cases, but with a simple design, silkscreening won't make you want ot kill yourself, we just jumped in way over our heads, and payed for it.
