Default Photo exposing

This might be a dumb question, but I did screen printing like three years ago, so I don't remember the exact process.....
I think it goes something like... you get a high contrast photocopy or printout of the image and soak both sides in vegetable oil and let that dry... then you put it in the light box, foam first, the the screen, then the image, then glass... and expose it... I am not sure of what kind of exposure times to use. But then after you expose it, you spray the image out with hot, or cold water? That is where it gets kinda fuzzy for me....
So if anyone could help me out, or point me in some direction of a website or something that could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!
-jon
