Racially Insensitive???
Had a meeting this morning to go over some new tee shirt program for New Balance. The program called for "urban style basketball graphics",
so I handed this in and was told that it was no good because it was "racially insensitive"!?? No further explaination given. This is by the owner of the company to boot! I can only hazard a guess that he looked at it and saw nothing but afro. I grabbed a basketball magazine and drew the first guy I saw. Has he ever seen stuff by ECHO or FUBU? geez.

when i had a job, i worked for a client that told me that they wanted to see more "orientals" in my design, why? because "orientals" seem "futuristic", no lie.
