Default large format-

how do you all normally get the negatives for your photo screens? at the moment I have to tile them out on a copier to transparency, then tape together..this really becomes a pain because of detail and just time..
any good places you know of to get it outputted for large format...
ie..18x24 +

You can take it to Kinko's and have them print it out on a digital plotter on a big sheet of Velleum. It's used mostly for photocopying architectural drawings but also works like a big printer. It runs $15 - $20 a color.

there are printers you can buy at like circuit city or best buy that can do 22x18 tops... they run for like $400 but that would pay for itself after a bunch of posters instead of going to kinkos and getting shit done on the plotter

I am sorta planning on printing postitives from an hp or epson inkjet wide-format onto vellum. I think the biggest one is 13x19 or so which is pretty good for me... let us other kooks know how it goes.

Don't you use vegetable oil on the bond paper to "translucentize" them?
