I want to print posters inexpensively what is a good paper type? Would bond paper be to cheezy? How much ink would you need to print 100 posters about 12x24 inches, two colour seperation? thanks |

the amount of ink REALLY depends on yr desing and the type od paper yr printting on...
AND the type of ink as well.. there are several cheap places to get paper in montreal- they are all listed inthe yellow pages. regular bond paper is usullay too thin to print ;large surfaces- it wrinkles up. i personally use a lightweight bristol for most of my posters it's thin enuff for easy pasting and thick enuff to not buckle AND satisfy my clients. sorry i can't give more advice- i don't know what yr ink/drying set up is nor what type of stuff yr printing.. |

110 lb white index. inexpensive, stable, non yellowing. good absorbtion. little buckling. it does 'pinch crease' easily so handle it carefully. has a good smooth matte finish, which 'tooth' takes ink well.
