Default Vacuum table plans?

I'm going to try to make a vacuum table this week -- does anyone have any plans they could email me, or know of where I can find info online?

thanks!

in the midst of building a vacum table (446 hand drilled holes i might add!)but i dont want to use a shop vac to get the suction, its too loud!! is there any sort of recommended fan to use that will give enough suction power its quite a big table. something quiet, also that i can sort of mount in the side of the box flush so it looks pretty and all? thanks

I don't know your workplace layout, but a solution to the noise thing from the vacuum is to locate it outside the workroom and pipe it in. I have a large Parapress (4'x6' bed) and a couple of smaller tables that I have connected to each other and the vacuum with 1.5" black pvc piping (plumbing pipe). I even tap into the line with the flex hose to run some small hand tables and a cd press when we pull them out and set them up.

I just cover the airholes on one press when I use the other, have a switch on the wall to turn on the vacuum which is outside the building. My wife complains in the summer when she is working in the garden, but nothing is perfect. I tell her that's the sound of money and give her a drink and a puff, that usually calms her down.
