Printing Film w/ Epson 1400 & C.O.S.

Hello all! I was recently gifted several packs of Bab's 13x18" waterproof inkjet film. I tested them last night, though, and the ink isn't sticking to the film. I'm Epson 1400 that has a non-OEM continuous ink system in place rather than traditional ink cartridges.

I put the "rough" side in correctly and tried printing on the "ultra premium photo glossy" and "ultra premium presentation matte" settings both to similar results. I assume that the problem is the ink from the C.O.S. system but I wanted to see if anyone has had this issue before I go out and by more epson cartridges. Thanks!

I have an HP printer but I had the same problem with the Bab's 13x19 films. Ink wouldn't stay on the film.

check another brand to determine if it's the film or the ink before you go switching. you switch ink on that printer, you better clean and purge or you will kill it.

Is that dye ink? If so try the film ryonet sells. kinda pricey but I've never had a problem with it.

Bummer, I've been using Vellum in my epson 2880 ink jet , and it work pretty well, I havn't looked for 13 x 19 vellum yet
