water-soluble won't cure to the paper and will always smudge. it also stains the screens pretty bad.

Blick is the shit. I use their textile ink for all my posters. I've heard it's just repackaged speedball fabric ink. The black is a nice midpoint between too chalky and too glossy
Golden makes an acrylic gloss additive that I like. Its the only one I've ever tried, but it works good. Experiment with the ratio.
