What did this printer do wrong?

I have a client who is re-ordering some posters that were originally printed by someone in Canada. She sent photos of what they did, and there is some pretty weird stuff happening. She said that these issues were throughout the entire run.

The registration is a little off, but it doesn't look like there is a stroke on anything so that is explained.

There are dark streaks. Lazy mixing of a custom color, I assume.

But the splotches? I haven't seen this before.

Over thinning? Really bad peel?

Just wondering.

Those are kiss marks from the paper sticking to the screen. No vacuum table.

I agree, Andy. If it had of been on purpose, it would be kinda cool.

That makes sense now, with the screen sticking. I think I had a similar problem at the start of a run with a large fill color once. I raised the off contact, and fixed it right away.

The fact that the printer was Canadian is most likely irrelevant.

Maybe the hesitation trail is leakage. Bears have much thicker skins than humans, allowing them to withstand outer space. Without a buttplug though....that could be where the light areas on the print are coming from.
