Heatset dyes?

Hello,
does anybody know any heatset dyes brand? I'm referring to DYES not PIGMENTS, and in particular to dyes that fix on the fabric using high temps. I'm not referring to Procion MX dyes that set thanks pre-treating cotton with a strong alkaline.

I think you should look at Procion MX, check to see if they have a pigmented version.

The Procion MX dyes need a pre-treatment of the fabric with a strong alkaline, to make possible the bond between dye and fabric!

Luther, I'd like to screenprint dyes moxing them with sodium alginate but I don't want to lose my time to pretreat fabric with strong alkaline!

The reason people pretreat with a strong alkaline is to open up the fibers to receive the dye. I think there are a lot of heat reactive dyes being used in textile but I don't know of the one you need. Mostly though I'm just messing with you.

I think GE just came out with a microwavable heat set ink this year.

Andy: thanks for the tip. I'm pretty sure the microwave can polymerize dyes better than plastisol, because dyes are dissolved in water.

this isn't in italy, but maybe if you look in their products you will find some brand names, which might lead to a Euro supplier.
