Stumptown like place in MN?

I came about stumptown by way of a GP user and I was wondering if there's a place like this in Minnesota? I hoping to do some drumhead packaging, but so far it looks like I'll have to just by chip board and fold and cut it myself, but for future projects involving cd/dvd packaging I'd love to be able to get some packaging gear locally and not have to wait for shipping

If you design the packaging I think you can probably get a custom steel rule die cut to make what you need from a lot of places. The only thing is that it'll be pretty expensive to have the die made for just one or a few projects. So unless you're thinking of becoming some kind of blank drum head packaging distributer it's probably not worth it. I believe Graphmark across the bridge in WI has a die cutter and might be able to help you out or at least direct you elsewhere. Graphmark Inc A leader in Design Production and Awards

If you need to get a die-line made I would try Laser Cut Plus in Minneapolis (http://lasercutplus.com/lasercutplus.com). It's amazing how cheap a die-line actually costs to produce and stamp. I would drop them a line. I've never paid more than $150 for any die I've needed done.

I was going to say the same thing...
It really is not very expensive or intimidating to do.

Plus- making your own die means you can:
* avoid using the same stock blank everyone else uses
* print flat before fabricating, will full bleeds, tight registration, etc.

Two BIG advantages IMO.
