I have a book by him. Apparently, facebook has one of his presses!
A Profitable Hobby!
tha might be the Harry Hiett book. Biegeleison's book was a standard for years, I think it is still around, very popular in schools, from Dover. Biegeleisen and Cohn, 'Silk Screen Techniques'. One of my favorite passages is where he recommends you don't wear gloves during washup, as they 'hamper natural movement and they in turn represent a problem in cleaning.'
Hiett's book is awesome. I think Steve Walters posted some pages from it in the forums a few years back.

There is another version of the Biegeleisen book I have at home, it's got a whole section on running a printing business and related business information. There's a long passage about employees and smoking "the busy screen shop is not an ideal environment for the habitual smoker, as they take a puff, put down their cigarette and remove the ashes with the gesture of a country squire; This contrasts with the busy nature of the work required" it then goes on to discuss if kerosene or gasoline is better to clean up your ink with. It's essentially a worthless book.
That x-mas card in there is kinda classy. Thanks for sharing Thorny.
