Anyone used these adjustable hinge clamps?

I'm in the process of building a vacuum table and ran across these adjustable hinges. Anyone on GP used them and have an opinion?

They look weak. I think most people just use some wood blocks to boost their hinges when needed.

meh, only good for screening on something up to 4" thick. mounted masonite most likely.

Thanks for the feedback and thoughts. It's a missed opportunity for a manufacturer to implement that design in a sturdier format. I guess those standard, unchanged Speedball hinges do have lasting power, Miklay. Can't a manual printer do better?

I have those and they use them at SVA. Be not deceived, they are HUGE and weigh a pound and a half each. I like them.

a pound and a half each! WOW! List price on them was $68 a pair, which I thought a bit pricey indeed, but you're making me reconsider.
