any of that cool stuff that's either just chrome or has that luminescent rainbowy look.
also:
does that stuff work with water-based inks? it seems like it would be prone to bead up. maybe not.

infinity foils is where I get all my stuff. their gloss clear is very nice, gives a nice rainbowy look. they also sell holographic foils but I've never tried them.
how are you going to be applying it? foil stamping or adhesive with a heat press?
i mean like a cover stock paper. maybe foil was the wrong wording.

sorry missed the paper part. that stuff is neat, I've seen some printing on silver foil but it was solvent. good luck
I bought a 7" from crosshair a year or so ago and the sleeve was printed on a pearlescent type paper with what appears to be waterbased ink. Its not as intense as the rainbow foil type stuff that the emek is printed on but its kinda glittery. Maybe he can give you some info?
was looking for this stuff just a few weeks ago for a prospective job, but gave up because everything i found either needed to be bought in huge quantities (like 500-1000 sheets at once), came in rolls (hell no), or came too small or too thin to use for posters.
and yeah, water-based ink could be a problem if it turns out that the stuff is made of vinyl. it will print, but it will scratch right off.
good luck, and please do post here if you have better luck than i did.
yeah... this stuff is cool, but Ive never been able to find it... let us know what you come up with
Thank you. i appreciate it!

Cordenons metallic cardstock is pretty amazing and very printable even on the most textured paper. You can request free samples from the website . I've color laser printed on astrosilver with good results and I've seen impressive offset samples printed on stardream opal. You will be asked how many samples you need: 5 12" x 18" per substrate is reasonable, but try whatever you can get away with.
Or take your chances and order some without testing it first: Stardream Metallics by Cordenons - Metallic paper, card stock and envelopes - PAPER-PAPERS.COM
