Sorry, not trying to be a dick or a curmudgeon about this, but your questions sound like you're starting from complete scratch. I can't be sure that you know photoshop well enough to understand the instructions I would usually give. Read the tutorial I posted. Open multiple windows, make a haltone bitmap with a low LPI (20-40 lpi, 22 degrees for noobz) and then copy and paste the bitmap into the original artwork. You know you're making a different file for each "color" to be printed, aka a color separation. If you're not at least using a torrent/pirate copy of photoshop, there's little hope. No MS Word Art. Alternately, just take the artwork to kinko's and up the contrast to unbelievable levels and then expose that transparency for ultra punk legitimacy. But, most people here are going to assume you want something that looks like the original digital comp.
That's the awersome thing about screenprinting; I'm sure you'll get something even if it's a big black square in place of the halftone. MYSTERIOUSSSSS
