The stuff that glues the screen mesh to the (wooden) frame...
What do you recommend and where do I get it?
Any thoughts?

I googled it. There's a hundred different methods for this and almost no user reviews.

Kiwo is good, kind of industry standard, as they also specialize in screenable adhesives. there are a couple of systems/producers. Ask your local screenstretcher for what they use.
then again, what's wrong with staples? that's what real artists use.
CSS turned me on to Liquid Staple LS-300, manufactured by Frame Fast. I've used it to stretch four or so screens, and they have all held up pretty well. I did a lot of reading and concluded that this stuff was the least toxic of the bunch, just wish it was a bit easier to mix small quantities. The hardener isn't shown in the picture, but it is a two-part adhesive.

That Kiwobond stuff looks pretty good, though.
