    Default New squeegee blades...

I just put new squeegee blades in a few squeegees today. First time I've ever replaced blades. I think the blades I've been using since I started working here (t-shirt shop by the way, not posters) were at least 6 years old, if not older. Holy crap! New blades make a HUGE difference. I've known this in theory for a long time, but the shop owner (who has never picked up a squeegee in his life) was never willing to spring for new blades. Finally convinced him and I can't believe how much better/easier it is to print. It's like I've been trying to drive nails with a rock and finally got a hammer....the rock was working, but working slowly/painfully/and inaccurately. Can't wait to replace the rest of the squeegee blades! Brand new 70 duro FTW!

    They sure do.

Try a 70-90-70 triple durometer blade sometime.
The stiffness of the 90 plus the suppleness of the 70, together in a sandwich of Awesome.
Crosshair pushing here until its limit the bringing together.

"Every single Crosshair poster I've ever seen is almost exactly the same. Do these guys even have a bit of creativity in them? I mean, come one - shitty old building pics photoshopped with text over them. Pretty pathetic to say the least."

"it just seems like so little effort is put into creating this? am i missing something?"

We sharpen our squeegees before every job and replace them when they are too short from sharpening.

Also 75/85/65/85/75 duro is how we roll
