Is cold weather bad for water based inks ?

I am building my new workshop at the moment . I have no door right now . The weather starts to get really cold now at night and i would like to know if my stock of water-based inks gonna suffer from the cold ?
Is water based ink able to freeze ?
Is it gonna fuck up my ink ?

It gets pretty cold in my studio, and I've never had it freeze. but I couldn't say really if it will. how cold is it?

My shop gets pretty cold - heated by a firebox in the winter.
I just have to plan ahead on what inks I'll use the next day, take them in the house overnight, then they're ready to go by the time my fire has warmed the shop up the next day.
I've not had inks freeze before, but I've had them get pretty thick.

Our old shop would get down below freezing at night and we never had a problem. You will just need to warm them up and add water to thin them out before printing, they become similar to jello in the cold.

I don't think WB inks freeze at 32F and hopefully your shop doesn't get colder than that. The main thing that gets ruined from freezing is emulsion. If you are storing it in the fridge already you may want to take it out when the shop gets cold so your chances of accidentally freezing your emulsion is reduced.

Yeah I would agree on adding water beforehand, the cold air does seem to dry it out.

My emulsion froze last winter in my old workshop. It was in the fridge and the workshop was an outside shed. I turned the fridge off for the rest of the winter after that.

I have found that my inks get pretty thick when its cold. Just mix in a little water. I wouldn't store them in a place that gets cold.

Keep your ink indoors until the weather get's better

i would say not having a door on your studio is going to give you a lot more problems than the possibility of your ink freezing.
