Hello!
where I buy my inks they use a photographic film made from a screenprinting veteran to identify the mesh count. Pratically this man has created a film that if overlapped to the mesh it creates a Moire effect. This man doesn't work there anymore and what they have is simply this last film. I don't know if they are stochastic or halftones filme, however I'd like to reproduce it!
Considering the stochastic halftones, for example generated by the "Diffusion Dither" in Photoshop, produce Moire effect if the pixel per inch (PPI) is easily divisible for the mesh count: For example a 40PPI quality file generates a Moire effect on a 81 threads/inch mesh (32 threads/inch for the European).
Stated this I'd like to print a single film with different PPI squares. Is this possible to print in an only time or I need to re-load the sheet into the printer, and print a PPI square per time?
Is possible to make a square, save it in different PPI, and then mount in a single artboard, printing it, or isn't possible to print different PPI images in the same time/artboard?
Thanks!
Fabio
