It's a big day for me. Been talking about it for a loooong time now, and today i screenprinted for the first time in 10 years. Not counting my Helmet poster I only 'assisted' at. Last time I really printed something I was still going to art school actually.
So my friend and i have been collecting some old equipment, stuff we mostly got for free or sometimes for a crate of beer, and put everything in my basement. I didn't burn my own screen yet, i'll have to get some money together to buy me lamps (and a starter..?). So that'll be the next chapter..

I'll be printing 30 to 50 shirts for a buddy who cooks in his own restaurant here in Antwerp. It's a very cool place, and the food is the best. The design was drawn by Joe Dynamite, a damn good tattoo artist.

So today i just did a test print, to see if i got the mix right (ink+slow reducer+hardener), I don't want to print 30+ shirts to later find the ink washes off. So tomorrow, i'll put the shirt in the washing machine.
