Default Tiling Seps for Four Color Process

So I am trying my first 4 color process. Seps came out pretty smooth - my problem is that I have a to tile my seps (x2 13x19 sheets for 18x24(ish) print.

This causes the area where they are tiled to wash out different and I am worried that, when this happens 4 times, it will be super noticeable.

Im going to give it a shot, its really just an experiment. But I guess my question is

    A. Does anyone do 4color process and tile their seps?

    B. If not, where should I look for full sheet seps that arent gonna cost out the ass?

    Thanks

I think you may have to get a full sheet sep...to not get those shifts in the tiled transparencies

Tiling over any kind of halftone or other dot pattern will always be visible, and ugly, and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it other than spring for full-size films.
    Sorry.
    I tried for years.

I D.I.Y. or die with my epson 3000. If I need bigger than 17x22" I hit up Delicious who have a big roll-fed Epson.

I've occasionally gone to this place Indigo Digital Printing - Chicago's Digital Color, Variable Data, and Large Format Graphics Leader which is near my house.

you could try running frosted DuraLar through the large-format machines at kinkos.
there might be some stretching, but it's better than seams

I've been using a couple of different blueprint shops and having them print out 20 by 26 vellum seps.......works pretty well. They run about $6-$7 a piece.
