They are real leaders in this resurgent step and repeat print area. And even up here in far off Canuckistan, in a little hick town, a million miles form the big smoke, they are selling their wares - I saw a vid a while back of them and was telling my friend Nik about them, he said "Flavor Paper, out of New York? We just did our living room with some of their wall paper."
Just got a notice from Gowanus Studio in Brooklyn that one of their master printers is running a screenprinting workshop, if you are in the area, check it. The Gowanus Studio Space

This class explores the possibilities of unconventional screen-printing techniques. Techniques covered include basic blend floods, selective ink placement using various mark making tools, such as: brushes, squeegees, ink siringes, sponges, rags... Class participants will learn the basics of registration with a key image, then explore different ways to combine multi color backrounds. We will also explore how printed multiples of the edition will change as the matrix changes from one impression to the next. Some screen-printing experience required. Josh Minnie is a Master Printer at Flavorpaper, a high-end handmade wallpaper shop in Brooklyn, NY.
Which reminds me.....need to go to Brooklyn one day. Sounds like Mecca for screenprinters.
