how to mail a 220g/m2 poster?

Hi I have a pretty basic question.
I have a 220g/m2 print, size 30 x 40 cm.
Could you advise if it is safe to post this thick print in a tube or better to keep it stiff flat?

it should be o.k. 220g/m2 isn't that heavy of a paper stock.

roll one up, put it in a tube and wait a couple of days and pull it out, see if the print is still good.
