is it possible to mix speedball fabric ink with airbrush ink and get a semi legit color? they are both a water base and need to be heat treated. anyone ever tried this or have mixed inks before?

You should mix 1 spoon and make a test, but mixing inks from different brands isn't a thing to do. Probabily the airbrush ink is waterbased but won't stick to fabric.

really?
I've mixed fabric ink and ink for paper just to get a little color. It will probably work if you're just trying to get a certain color. I would be wary of mixing them in large amounts.
I've never had to heat set my fabric ink printed posters. Maybe I'm just lucky?
